Higher Education as a Service

I want to help build a national (or provincial) cloud service for Higher Education! Please forward my contact information!

It would be physically located in Canada, and include;

1. ERP as a Service for HE, including; 
• Registration Services
• Transcripts Services
• Materials Management Services
• eCommerce Services
• Content Access Services
• HR Services
2. Would be based on the OpenStack standard.
3. Provide Platform as a Service (PaaS) for any educational project requiring these services, including;
• Application hosting and software development services
• CPU Time / Data Storage
• Course Management Services / Learning Management System
• Open Publishing Services
• Any / All social media platforms (Blogging, Wiki, Tagging, MOOC, Etc.)
4. Provide Software as a Service (SaaS) to all students as a part of their registration. These services would support their constructivist and connectivist learning activities
5. It would be both National and Provincial
6. Be completely opensource so it could be rolled out to any country that wanted to participate.

This would save the taxpayer millions of dollars and free up educational budgets to focus on more education for the public at a lower price.
