Just viewed this in my LinkedIn and couldn't help but smile... so the originator thought
they would win the bet for a few hundred dollars; well it turns out, with the wonder of social media, it has turned it into a few thousand. And it wouldn't surprise me if it pays off his mortgage by the time its all done. I'd hedge its about to go viral. I certainly hope we get a follow-up post to see how the bet was actually paid off...
And in the time it has taken me to compose this post the number of likes has gone from 5,908 to 6,186... When will people realize the real value of social media is making bets with your Luddite friends in social media's power as a communication and networking tool.
